As soon as Hannah shared her breath-taking plans for her wedding to Nathan I just knew it was going to be utterly beautiful. Passionate about using local wedding suppliers they carefully sourced the very best that Shropshire has to offer.
On a glorious summers day Hannah and Nathan were married at St Chad’s Church in Shrewsbury followed by an elegant reception at The Mytton and Mermaid Hotel near-by. A military wedding with dress uniforms, a stunning wedding gown, fabulous flowers in shades of pink … the emotions, the love … all were perfectly captured by Mike Norman Photography.

Estelle diamante bridal headpiece
I first had the pleasure of meeting Hannah and her lovely mother not long after she had become engaged. We chatted about how I design my bridal headpieces, my inspirations and creative background. I was thrilled when Hannah told me that she would be asking me to create wedding headpieces and bridal jewellery for herself and her bridesmaid.
Over the course of the next 18 months I often bumped into them both at wedding fayres and heard about how their plans were progressing.
Having chosen her stunning wedding gown at Muse Bridal in Newport, Hannah booked an accessory styling appointment with me. Her breath-taking Ronald Joyce dress took my breath away when she first showed me photos of it.
The ball gown with layers of floaty tulle over a luxurious ivory satin skirt had ¾ length sleeves. The beautiful bodice was heavily beaded with delicate silver beads, sparkling clear crystals and dainty pearls with shimmering silver sequins. Her dress had a feature V-shaped back with covered buttons and she wore a long veil for her ceremony.Muse Bridal Boutique
Hannah wore her hair in a low chignon and was looking for a statement bridal headpiece with lots of sparkle. It was a case of love at first sight when she tried on the Estelle Hair Vine. The arching sprays of glittering diamante elements in a glorious range of shapes and sizes teamed with sparkling clear Swarovski crystals perfectly echoed the shimmering details of her beautiful dress.Estelle Diamante Bridal Hairvine
I customised the Estelle bridal hair vine design by altering the length of the sprays so it appeared symmetrical when viewed from behind. I also included a sprinkling of freshwater pearls to soften the silvery appearance, and to introduce a hint of ivory reflecting the romantic bridal styling of Hannah’s breath taking wedding gown.
Caroline Bridal Comb
Hannah’s adult bridesmaid wore a pretty blush dress from Jessicas Bridal in Shrewsbury.
The softly gathered dress had a feature embellished neckline and her maid, Caroline, had her hair styled up in loose pinned curls.Anya Bridal Earrings Chloe Bridal Bracelet Caroline Comb

Hannah chose a bridal comb from my new collection which I named Caroline after her bridesmaid. The Caroline Comb is a symmetrical version of our best-selling Lianne Bridal Hair Vine. Both designs are hand made with dainty sprays of ivory freshwater pearls, delicate diamante and tiny sparkling clear Swarovski crystals.
I still feel emotional and have goose bumps whenever I browse Hannah and Nathan’s fabulous wedding photos; everything was just perfect. Hannah was an absolute joy to work with and I had great time whenever I met her and her lovely mother. Thank you so much for letting me share your wonderful wedding.
